*** Important Notice for Updating Active ***

Due to a new server security policy, existing Active users cannot automatically receive 
updates as before. A one-time manual update is needed for those users who are using 
Active Version 4.0.

To find which version of Active you are using, log-in to Active and click on the Help menu 
in the Active formula builder.  Then select "About Active". 

If you're using Active 4.0, you need to manually update your version to 4.1. Please close 
your Active and Excel and then click on the below:

         click here to download ActiveUpdate41.zip. 

Save it to your computer. Unzip the file (or copy and paste the files ) to your Active folder 
(the default location for your Active folder is C:\Program Files\Mergent\MergentActive). Then 
your Active will be updated to version 4.1. This is a one-time action. Later updates can be 
processed automatically.

If you're using Active 3.x, please ignore this notice. Version 3 cannot be directly upgraded 
to Version 4. But you can still use version 3.x normally. If you want to upgrade to Active 4, 
you have to uninstall your current Active, and download/install the new Active install package
(which is different than the link above to the update files. Please login to your account to 
access the install package and upgrade to version 4).

If you're using Active 4.1 or later, please ignore this notice as the update can be handled 
automatically.
